NECE - Networking European Citizenship Education

NECE is an open transnational and diverse association of experts and practitioners of civic education from Europe and other regions. It provides a forum for equal debates and knowledge exchange via analogue and digital platforms. NECE identifies political and social trends relevant to civic education and develops ideas to put them into practice. The NECE community advocates a stronger prioritisation of citizenship education at national, European and international level.

NECE has been initiated and managed by the Federal Agency for Civic Education (Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung/ bpb) together with partners from France, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Belgium, Poland and the Czech Republic.
